A guide to your Power Bank 2000's settings menu and how to calibrate it for Expansion Packs. Before connecting any Expansion Packs, ensure that the power levels of each battery are within 10% of each other (fully charged is ideal).
Method 1
Some models will not support this method. If your Power Bank does not support this method, use Method 2.
Follow these steps to access your Power Bank's settings menu:
1. Press and hold "DC" for seven seconds in the "off" state to enter the settings menu.
2. "001" (menu item 1) should appear, with a "0" underneath by default. This governs the number of connected Expansion Packs. Short-press "DC" to increase the number, and short-press "AC" to decrease the number. Enter the amount of Expansion Packs you have connected to your Power Bank here. |
|
3. Press and hold "AC" to enter the second menu item, "002". This indicates screen brightness. Short-press "DC" to increase brightness, or short-press "AC" to decrease brightness. |
|
4. Press and hold "AC" to enter the third menu item, "003". This governs automatic shutoff of your Power Bank if there is no attached loads drawing energy. The default value is "OFF", but you can increase the time (hours) by short-pressing "DC". Decrease the time by short-pressing "AC". |
|
5. Press and hold "AC" to enter the fourth menu item, "004". This indicates the AC output frequency, and should not be changed. The default value for this setting is 60Hz. |
|
6. Press and hold "AC" to exit the settings menu. You will see "SUC" if your savings were saved successfully. |
|
Method 2
If Method 1 is unsuccessful, use the following steps to access your Power Bank's settings menu:
1. Turn on the Power Bank. The screen will light up. Press the "DC" and "AC" buttons at the same time, and hold until the battery outline on the screen begins to flash. Then, quickly double-click the "AC" button to enter the settings menu.
2. "001" (menu item 1) should appear. This refers to the voltage calibration, and should not be changed. The default value for this setting is "10".
3. Press and hold "AC" to enter the second menu item, "002". This refers to 0-current calibration, and should not be changed.
4. Press and hold "AC" to enter "003", the third menu item. This refers to current calibration, and should not be changed. The default value for this setting is "10".
5. Press and hold "AC" to enter the fourth menu item, "004". This refers to total battery capacity, and will need to be changed if you've added an Expansion Pack 3000. After your Expansion Pack(s) are connected, short-press "DC" to make the default value (1920W) flash. Then, short-press "AC" to adjust the battery volume. If you have added one EP3000, change the value to "4992W". If you have added two EP3000s, change the value to "8064W". |
|
6. Press and hold "AC" to enter the fifth menu item, "005". This indicates screen brightness. Short-press "DC" to increase brightness, or short-press "AC" to decrease brightness.
7. Press and hold "AC" to enter the sixth menu item, "006". This governs automatic shutoff of your Power Bank if there is no attached loads drawing energy. The default value is "OFF", but you can increase the time (hours) by short-pressing "DC". Decrease the time by short-pressing "AC".
8. Press and hold "AC" to enter the seventh menu item, "007". This indicates low voltage protection, and should not be changed. The default value for this setting is "22.0".
9. Press and hold "AC" to exit the settings menu. You will see the word "EEP" appear if your adjustments were saved successfully. |
